Split pea fritters recipe

Split pea fritters
Form ½″ diameter balls with the dough before frying

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup split peas, soaked overnight and then coarsely ground in food processor
  • ½ cup fresh coriander, chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 bird eye chillies (less if you prefer less spicy)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients.
  2. Form ½″ diameter balls with the dough.
  3. Deep fry over medium high heat.

Number of servings (yield): 4
